BOYS KEEP SWINGING, BOYS ALWAYS WORK IT OUT
Elland Road Big Boys finally won their first game of the season this weekend, as Deano returns from holiday in Queensland (just down the road for him, I guess) to oversee a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Prettier Than You, with Graeme Le Saux and Anthony Gardner getting the goals. It isn’t enough to lift the Big Boys off the bottom of the table, thanks to Real Muppets drawing (yet again) with Nil Satis, but it does give Dean the POTW £100,000. Well done matey, that’s about $250,000 in Aussie money!
At the top, Kylie Bumcheeks forge a 2 point lead after a 3-1 victory over sinking York’s Returning Glory. Claymore Athletic FC go second after a hard fought 3-1 win over You Know Your Boston Rock FC, the “Sky Heroes” manager Sheriff utilising the newly-christened “Fenwick Dodge” to no avail, and Aardvark Abacus go up to 3rd by winning the big game of the day by a single Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink strike over San Dimas High School, who sink to 4th as a result.
Notable elsewhere was Mega Buck Bandits’ 1-0 win over high-flying Fred West, with a sole Colin Cooper strike settling matters. But for Deano’s first win of the season, this would have been the POTW. Sorry Dave!!

THE FF£100,000 QUESTION
This is a great one.
Right winger Juhan Parts plays for FC Toompea of the Estonian Fourth Division. What’s his day job?
Guesses by close of play on Saturday I November 2003. First correct one out of the hat after that date gets the dosh!
Robbie Savage has never been sent off in his Premiership career (and, I think, in his career overall, though I’m unable to verify this). This despite receiving 44 yellow cards, and being substituted numerous times “for his own safety”. I find this incredible, and I thought I’d better get this question in before he does see Red, as he inevitably will one day soon.
None of you were fooled by this one, and I got correct guesses from Peej, Ryan, Rachel, Ceri and Deano. The Dinosaur Dice landed on “Stegosaurus” (don’t ask), which meant that the £100,000 goes to Prettier Than You. Well done Rachel.
